Politicians and Staffers guilty of child sexual abuse
For a long time now there has been lots of noise made around the link between child sexual abuse and our Political Landscape. Claims made and charges laid, as well as many of these instances being swept under the carpet and hidden.
These are just three examples one just recently of elected representatives and staffers found guilty and/or charged with child sex offences.
Just recently former Labor ACT Attorney General Gordon Ramsey charged with grooming a minor
He was to have been committed to trial in the ACT Supreme Court today, but instead his lawyers turned up to court to ask for more time to prepare the case. That's because he is now facing seven more charges which include two counts of committing an act of indecency on a person under special care, and several counts of using a carriage service for child abuse material and to menace, harass or offend.

This from 2020 NSW Labor minister and Milton Orkopoulos:
The former Labor MP spent 11-and-a-half years in jail after he was convicted of 30 child sex, drug and child porn offences. He was granted parole in December 2019. He was arrested in January for allegedly setting up an Instagram account and not telling police within the required seven days

This from 2021 Ben Waters a senior political advisor to South Australian Labor MP Nat Cook has been arrested and charged with child abuse offences:
The man has been identified as 38-year-old Ben Waters and was arrested after a raid on Parliament House and has been charged with possessing and producing child exploitation material.

Although these are only three examples, they are three examples too many, and they are not isolated incidents. Craig Cole and others from around the country have been attempting to raise awareness regarding the depths of depravity and the cesspool of child sexual abusers that are littered throughout politics here in this country.
Child sexual abuse survivors that have named politicians in numerous inquiries and commissions into child sexual abuse, as being responsible for perpetrating sexual offences against them and others who have had their names suppressed.
In closing yes these are only just three examples, yet sadly they are only the tip of the iceberg. It is a very sobering thought that these are our elected representatives and they are paedophiles
