Breaches of Parents Rights Committed by Victorian Education Department and Schools

Breaches of Parents Rights Committed by Victorian Education Department and Schools

The Victorian Education Department, School Principals and Teachers are in breach of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

Australia is a signatory to both of these treaties which the Victorian Education Department and Schools deliberately and quite arrogantly treat with contempt.

Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 26 section 3:

Parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children

The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, Article 18 section 4:

The States Parties to the present Covenant undertake to have respect for the liberty of parents and, when applicable, legal guardians to ensure the religious and moral education of their children in conformity with their own convictions.

As you can see with these two glaring examples, the radicalised gender theory and the sexualised indoctrination of your children in schools, that is pushed hard at every opportunity is in clear breach of your rights as parents under International Guidelines. These guidelines far exceed any School or Education Department protocol or ruling.

Numerous reports from parents around the state confirm that schools firstly, lack complete transparency with this content that your children are being subjected to, secondly when confronting the schools informing them you do not consent to your children being taught radicalised theories and highly inappropriate sexual content you are met with disdain and/or labelled a homophobe or a bigot or completely ignored, a standard line schools are directed to take.

Numerous reports of Principals and Vice Principals directing teachers to inform students that there is no opt out for students when this content is being taught, is once again in breach of International Guidelines. Not to mention a completely arrogant and highly disturbing attitude from people who are placed with the responsibility of the care and education of your child.

To add further context below are quotes from Roz Ward and Joel Radcliffe (references to both in this site under Safe Schools and the War Against Parents)

Roz Ward

A Safe Schools national symposium of more than 300 attendees was told by the program’s Victorian co-ordinator, Roz Ward, that schools could ignore concerns raised about the agenda:

When people do complain then school leadership can very calmly and graciously say, “You know what? We’re doing it anyway, tough luck!”

Joel Radcliffe

Safe Schools project manager Joel Radcliffe, a fellow academic at La Trobe University, which spawned the program, told a June 2014 audience that:

Parents don’t have the power to shut this down

Clear disdain and contempt for the rights of you the parent, from two of the people responsible for Safe Schools of which Respectful Relationships is a spin off. These comments were fully condoned by the Victorian Education Department, with the message to school Principals to take this stance when dealing with you the parent.

What To Do?

One suggestion would be to inform your school that by ignoring or not adequately handling your rightful concerns on these issues, that they are in breach of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and also The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (both Article breaches stated above). Question them on why they should not be pursed for breaching such International Guidelines.

Also kindly remind your school Principals and/or teacher, that if they bully or discriminate against your child in any way for you refusing for your child to take part in any radicalised gender theory or inappropriate sexualised teachings they are in breach for one, if you are in Victoria ( other states have similar legislation), of the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act 2006 section 14:

14 Freedom of thought, conscience, religion and belief

(1) Every person has the right to freedom of thought, conscience, religion and belief, including—

(a) the freedom to have or to adopt a religion or belief of that person's choice; and (b) the freedom to demonstrate that person's religion or belief in worship, observance, practice and teaching, either individually or as part of a community, in public or in private.

(2) A person must not be coerced or restrained in a way that limits that person's freedom to have or adopt a religion or belief in worship, observance, practice or teaching.

In summary for far too long the Victorian Education Department and Schools, have lacked transparency and shown complete and utter disdain and contempt for you as parents. They are hell bent on pushing their immoral agenda upon the innocent minds of your children. This also applies to pre school facilities as well, as this agenda is also pushed by the people with the responsibility of caring for your child’s wellbeing.

The time is NOW and the silent majority MUST become the vocal and majority, to stand up and push against the deliberate undermining of you the parent, and the deliberate attack on your children.
